What possibilities does telling the story of modern art from an Atlantic perspective offer us? Guided by the idea of deviation, this course brings into the discussion artists, journeys and intersections that are rarely covered in textbooks but which the exhibition “ An Atlantic Drift. The Arts of the 20th Century Based on the Berardo Collection ” allows us to explore. Challenging the notion of a single interpretation and championing multiple possibilities for exploration, the course is delivered in person, comprising six guided sessions held between the exhibition space and the auditorium.
